Elbow Pain
Elbow pain is a common ailment that typically affects a person’s dominant arm due to the number of bones, muscles and tendons that meet in the area. The bicep and tricep flex and extend the elbow, while the humerus bone meets the ulna and radius bones at the elbow. Tendons on the outside of the elbow are commonly injured in what’s called “tennis elbow”, while injuries to tendons on the inside of the elbow are known as “golfers elbow.” Elbow bones may also fracture, sometimes causing intense pain due to the ulnar nerve, commonly known as the “funny bone”.
